Concretes - Good EveningThe Concretes are back. A new record called WYWH is coming out November 8 on Friendly Fire Recordings. After the departure of singer Victoria Bergsman, drummer Lisa Milberg has stepped up as the new vocalist. The band is also sporting a slightly new sound, one influenced by disco - dreamy and beautiful, but with a pulsing, hypnotic backbeat. With less guitar, more keyboards, more bass, deep languorous vinyl grooves, twitching percussion and some good old cowbell – but still with those trademark melodies.

Panico - Reverberation Mambo (Joakim Mix)In the "it's about damn time" category, Panico have announced the October 12 release of their new album "KICK" on Chemikal Underground. I'm a huge fan of their debut, 2005's Subliminal Kill, so I'm geeked for more. Here is a bit of their PR blurb...
